"Visited Club Med Tomamu for 9 nights. We are a family of 3 : 2 adults and a 4 year old girl. Overall we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this property and ski resort.

Arrival & Room:
We stayed in a Junior Family Superior room. The room was well equated, clean and set up well. Whilst the SQM of the room (42) on the website might seem small, the rooms are spacious and they have done well to make the most of the space with a large amount to storage for clothes and ski gear. [...]
Food & Beverage:
The included restaurant was very good. Yes it is an all inclusive property with a buffet, but it is a huge buffet with a great variety. On top of that the chefs and kitchen team provide daily specials to mix it up. This includes options for children and adults. [...]
Outside the set dining times (7:30AM -09:30AM, 12PM - 2PM. 6PM - 8:30PM) there was the bar and theatre where you you get a tea, coffee, cocktail, beer etc..., basically any time from 09:00 until 11:00PM. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
MiniClub:
We enrolled our daughter in the all day MiniClub and lessons. [...]
You have the option of leaving your kids on the club all day, having just lunch with them or having ski with them. We mixed this up through out the week. Our daughter loved her lessons and the down time in the club. Although the youngest in her group, she made friends and always had a smile on her face. [...]
The greatest part of the MiniClub was the ski lessons.[...} Julieanne and Gert, did an amazing job teaching our daughter the skills to improve and give her confidence, to the point where she is now carving her turns and is confident on blue runs.

Private Lessons:
I booked several private lessons for my wife, who is an intermediate coming back from injury.[...]
Jason was great - he gave my wife the skills and confidence to come back form her injury start to smile when skiing. So much so that by the last day she wanted to ski more, which is a first! She also had Gert, for the last day and she was great as well. It was the first time my wife had skied in powder like we had and Gert had her confident on blue runs in boot deep snow. [...]
[...}But the highlight is the Kirin-no Yu outdoor spa. Hot, open air and completely silent, an amazing experience not to be missed. There are two separated by sex and is a traditional naked Japanese spa/Onsen like experience. My wife took our daughter to the female one and she loved sitting in the warm spa as the snow fell around her.

Fantastic experience in Club Med Tomamu
5/5 • 30/03/2025I really had a wonderful vacation at Club Med Tomamu. Thank u for all the GO that I met. They all treat us like family!
The chief of Village Zack is really hype, I enjoyed to watch him bring all of us to the dance mode every night! That was really fun! Especially thx to Go team Doris,Cinda, Una Cara Kimi, Yuki, Gabriel, and my snowboarding coach Thomas( Not sure if I spell everyone’s name right or not. ^^”)They are really kind and always come with this lovely smile.
Not only me and kids can learn snowboad and ski there, but also we all make some good friends there. BTW, every meals we ante there was anmazing! Our family all had a goog time there. We’ll definitely visit it again! :)

5/5 • 24/03/2025Someone decided to delete my comment, so I took it upon myself to write another one. The skiing was really fun, and the activities were great too. The GO for Teens Club staff were really nice—shoutout to Mathew and Vanny, who were absolutely amazing and actually managed to put up with my less-than-ideal attitude. I loved hanging out in the teens group because we had so many activities, and overall, it was just a really fun experience.
That said, some instructors were not my favorite. For example, there was this one person named Patrick (or something like that) who had a bit of an ego. Patrick, if you’re reading this, I don’t really care, but I just don’t vibe with overly extroverted people who brag a lot and judge other instructors. Most of the time, I had classes with Cici or Benjamin, and they were great—especially if you’re more introverted around people you’ve just met and need to vent a little about others.
Seriously, though, don’t request Patrick—he’s an absolute pain. Oh, and Patrick, if you’re going to claim you made me so much better, no, it wasn’t you—it was my private coaches. Just saying.

Awesome resort, excellent service

The experience is amazing each and every time, and the service is above any expectations. I am especially grateful to the F&B team, Mahen, Vichy, Carlos, for the excellent service, professionalism and such a positive, welcoming attitude. What you do is amazing ❤️ Thank you to Kaya and Petra for the awesome ski lessons.
