"We (a couple who are a little over middle aged), have recently arrived home after spending 14 days at Club Med Sohoro Hokkaido Japan on a snowboarding holiday, and we can’t wait to go back again.
It felt like a free holiday given we had paid months before and absolutely everything was included.
The rooms are surprisingly spacious, very well equipped and cleaned beautifully every day.
The food was absolutely amazing with a huge assortment of food from many nationalities to suit all tastes.
But we were there to enjoy the Japanese cuisine and it did not disappoint. The chefs proudly presented each plate, and the food was traditional, high quality, beautifully presented and very tasty. Exquisite!
The bar snacks were next level and they even did a weekly BBQ out in the snow.
Snowboard lessons were included and the instructors were absolutely amazing.
The staff throughout all areas of the resort were extremely friendly helpful, happy and showed a genuine interest in our day and in ensuring we had access to everything we wanted.
The après facilities are excellent, with the bar overlooking the snow, an outdoor Canadian bath, a heated pool and jacuzzi, onsen, day spa, pool tables, tennis tables, gymnasium and nightly entertainment.
Being a smaller resort and with only two resorts on the mountain, the runs weren’t crowded and we didn’t have to queue for lifts which was fantastic.
We can’t wait to return, and definitely recommend Club Med Sohoro Hokkaido."

5/5 • 16/01/2025We had the best family trip. All the instructors and staff were super antentive. This is our second time back as last time was amazing!! This time did not disappoint we where met by new faces and some of the same staff! A special shout out to SHIHO, who made our stay super fun and the kids felt right at home. She remembered all our names and went over and above :) 5 stars once again. We will be nack a third time⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic slopes and staff, although facilities and upkeep could be better.
4/5 • 13/01/2025Had an amazing time! The instructors that I came across (Rata, Vince, Shigeru, Craig and Stefano) were amazing and so patient and the bar team were really kind and friendly (Jayden’s cocktail concoction was fantastic!).
However, the facilities are a little dated and can be off-putting at times (long lines waiting for washing machines that don’t have a rinse function between washes, dryers that are filled with dust and fuzz, an ofuro that had towels strewn all over and disgusting half filled buckets from the unsupervised teens that treated the bathhouse as their personal kiddy splash pool… the list goes on), which for the price point should be improved upon.
Overall the staff were generally amazing and definitely made the experience worth it.

Amazing experience at Club Med Sahoro
5/5 • 12/01/2025We have just returned from a week at Club Med Sahoro. My family of four was with two other families, all with kids ranging from 8 to 14. We've skied quite a lot around the world, so our expectations are generally high.
Club Med Sahoro didn't disappoint. The rooms were comfortable, the food and drinks were excellent, the snow was amazing, and the ski instructors were great. A special shout out to Manu, the best instructor I've ever had. I've read some other resorts are better / newer etc., but honestly, the size of the place was perfect. By the end of the week, I felt like I knew lots of the guests and my kids had made heaps of friends.
And don't get me started on the snow. So much powder, and there was enough diversity in the runs (on and off-piste) to keep everyone very happy.
This was our first club med experience and we're definitely coming back.
