Kani Maldives

We all had such a good time during our week at Club Med Kani that we are suffering withdrawal symptoms now we are home! We loved every minute of our time at the resort, but particularly enjoyed the Ruby Show and party at the bar afterwards, the variety of water sports available and the general friendliness of everyone with special shoutouts to Joe (running the water sports) for his friendliness and enthusiasm and Ripon from the bar for his kindness and attentiveness. We stayed in a beachfront villa that was pretty much at the other end of the island from the restaurant but the walk gave us a chance to work off all the delicious food we consumed. We loved trying out kayaking, sailing, stand up paddleboarding and the snorkeling was superb. Plus the excursion staff were beyond helpful. Absolutely amazing family holiday.

Our year end holiday started on 17th Dec 2024 and it was supposed to be till 24th but we extended our stay till the 27th, cause we didn’t want to leave!
So many GO to mention on their excellent and super friendly treatment we had received throughout our stay at CMKani.
Shout out to Enes, assistant restaurant manager who served us with his warm smile every time he saw us during dining time and made every single dining time a special moment.
Shout out to the Chef Sajikumar who had cooked Fried Rice for me for 3 days in a row for lunch & dinner as I was sick and couldn’t bring myself to eat anything else. And Yigit, the Restaurant Manager for always checking on our wellbeing.
Shout out to Dr Roy and his nurse who took good care of me and my son when we both were sick during our vacation there.
Shout out to the Yoga guru, Christine who had brought tranquility to each and every yoga session she conducted. Love her classes every time! Nothing can beat doing yoga overlooking the ocean and sea breeze brushing your hair. Simply heaven!
Shout out to Ilhas & Sabrine and Adika from the boutique who assisted me and my wardrobe needs 🤣 to meet the theme of the day. Oh yes love and love Ilhas & Sabrine’s dance moves. They did a Tiktok dance with me a minute before I boarded the ferry to leave the island on our last day.
Yousri, the Sports no.1 boss who is super excellent at his job and he gave an extra ordinary performance on our last night there. Kudos to Yousri!
GO Chicken! Yes his nickname is Chicken, from Kids & Teens Club had made my kids vacation a memorable and fun one!
Chris, Reception Manager, who went the extra mile to sort out our accommodation situation. And his dance moves on stage, not something you wanna missed 😊😍 There’s Islah too from reception who danced with us on many nights and super sweet Karin from Japan who ate dinner with us for many nights.
Boris, the Deputy GM was attentive to us and super accommodating.

And last but definitely not the least, Ragab, the GM of Club Med Kani who had made our stay and year end holiday simply magnificent and one of kind, throughout!
Truly, we had such a good time there till leaving this beautiful place was such a drag. Thank you Club Med Kani! We will definitely be back again soon :)

My family visited Club Med Kani from 30 November 2024 to 4 December 2024. We were blown away at the hospitality of the staff there in making us feel comfortable throughout our stay.

A special mention to one of the staff in the main dining area, Hamza. As we always sat in the same area for our meals, Hamza was the one who mainly waited our table. He was super attentive to details and was able to remember all of our preferred beverages - he offered to make ice chocolate for my brother (we found out that Hamza had to personally add in ice cubes into the drink as only hot chocolate was served at the dining area)!

During our conversations with Hamza, he found out that we would be missing Club Med's iconic 'White Night', which happens every Thursday evening, as our trip to Kani was from Saturday to Wednesday. On our last evening there, Hamza went all out of his way to prepare a specially decorated (all by hand!) table for us and even served us grilled fish - a dish that's not usually part of the usual buffet menu. It did feel as if Hamza had made "White Night" happen for us on a Tuesday and it was such a thoughtful gesture, and definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Club Med Kani.

We went to Club Med Kani in January 25 as a belated wedding anniversary. You walk out the airport and straight onto the private boat transfer to the resort. Club Med have the whole Island and it's like a private paradise. We were lucky enough to stay in the over water villas which were incredible. The resort, location, food and Club Med team there were all fantastic. I'd particularly recommend if you have an interest in snorkelling/diving/water sports. Whilst all the team were great, three members helped make our stay exceptional- Christine (Yoga), Shar (Marine Biologist) and Al Amin (Manta Bar). Thanks for a great holiday.

With a hectic schedule the entire year my partner & I chose to finally indulge in some quality time on an island get away! And what better destination than The gorgeous Maldives over water villas ; club Med. Ragab and his team were most welcoming and constantly enquiring about our comfort throughout our stay. Although we experienced high temperatures I enjoyed the cooling lounges where we could just literally “Chill” in should the weather outside become unbearable! Sana at the Manta bar was awesome, creating his own delicious cocktails for us every evening. The food was just incredible (shows on our scales now though!) It was quite crowded at dinner but we did go in peak season.. There were many staff who went beyond their call of duty for us : Saji and Enes,fayaz,Naif..Sana . We would like to recommend at least 2 snorkelling sets instead of one for use by the exclusive club. We had to share which was not delightful as we are a couple and would’ve liked to experience snorkelling together. We found the Spa treatment prices to be extremely over priced. We also would like more international music as we could not relate to the large percentage of Maldivian music nor the French that was spoken during themed evenings. The last recommendation is to provide bath salts or bath oils for the bath tub as we would’ve loved to enjoy a romantic bath with the required salts / bubbles. Otherwise it was such a memorable getaway ! Surely one that has brought us closer together as a couple! Thank you Clubmed Kani!
