Kabira Ishigaki Japan

Just finished the most wonderful week at the Club Med in Ishigaki. The location is ideal for a relaxing getaway with friends or family. The resort is located on Kabira Bay and has the most amazing views. The resort looks out over the turquoise waters and has two great beaches. The hotel has many free activities and events. I was the guest yoga teacher for the week and taught a beginner yoga at 8am, a Power Yoga at 10am, and a Sunset Yoga at 5pm daily. The yoga classes were well attended and people from all over the world attended. Along with yoga they have other exercise classes, drum classes, tennis, archery, and many other activities. If water sports is more your thing then they have many great water activities like snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing, and SUP. The great thing about the resort is that most of the activities and food are included so you don’t have to worry about carrying money or anything. They give you a wrist band that even opens your door.

On my free time I enjoyed the hotel pool, beach, and surrounding nature. I would recommend going on a few excursions to see the beautiful island of Ishigaki. I went on the glass bottom boat and manta snorkeling excursion. Getting around the island is expensive by taxi so arrange for transportation to and from the resort through the front desk or rent a car. The best part of the resort is the people who work there. They do a wonderful job making sure you’re taken care of and make you feel at home. Benz and Boi at the restaurant were especially welcoming and went out of their way to greet us each night. We had a great meal and conversation with Jake and Wayne of the GO staff and Koray at the Lounge made the best cocktails. Most everyone we interacted with were very friendly and spoke multiple languages. The staff is made up of people from all over the world. My friend and I really had a memorable time and we hope to go back again soon.

Four days at Club Med Kariba in Ishigaki was a really happy moment. We were able to enjoy everything inside the All-in-Clusivra resort, and the meals were amazing. In particular, the restaurant employee named BOY was very kind to us. The fact that we remember among the countless restaurant employees may be because it was one of the happiness we felt at the resort. Thank you very much to him.

Also, all the staff members were so kind and treated. There were many interesting leisure sports, too. Thank you.

3歳の娘を連れての初めての滞在でしたが、本当に素晴らしい体験となりました。すでに「また戻りたい」と思うほど、充実した滞在でした。

アクセス
石垣空港からタクシーで約30分、料金はおおよそ6,000円でした。道中、米原ビーチや川平湾などの美しい景色も楽しめます。運が良かったのか、敷地内で孔雀を見ることもできました（スタッフによるとかなりレアとのことです）。

予約について
公式サイトの直前割を利用して予約しました。私が確認した限りでは公式サイトが最安で、ベネフィットワンの割引も使えたため、約8,000円ほどお得に予約できました。

施設・敷地内の魅力
滞在中は少し肌寒くてプールには入らなかったのですが、それでも散策やビーチ、バーでのイベントなどアクティビティが豊富で飽きることがありませんでした。テニスコート、バスケットコート、スカッシュ、卓球、ジムなども揃っています。
雨の日もありましたが、建物の設計のおかげで濡れることなく快適に移動でき、屋内でも楽しめるイベントがたくさんありました。

お部屋
とても清潔で快適でした。海外仕様のシンプルなお部屋でしたが、トイレが独立していたのは特にありがたかったです。シャンプーやボディミルクなどのアメニティも揃っており、お水も3本用意されていました。E棟に宿泊しましたが、ミニクラブや食事処、プール、ロビーにも近く便利な立地です。ビーチを重視する方は奥の棟も良さそうです。タオル交換や水の補充はリクエストすれば対応してくれますし、アプリからも依頼可能でした。

食事
朝昼晩すべてブッフェ形式で、毎日異なるメニューが楽しめました。ライブキッチンでは肉や魚、デザートをシェフがその場で盛り付けてくれ、特にエジプト料理が印象的でした。子ども向けには麺類やパン、ゆで野菜、フルーツなどが用意されており、小さな子連れでも安心して楽しめる内容です。バーはほぼ24時間営業で、ドリンクや軽食も充実していました。

子ども向けのサービス
娘は「プチクラブ」という託児サービスを半日体験しました。途中でママを恋しがって泣いたようですが、お友達や先生と仲良くなり、とても楽しかったようです。午前中の活動の後、みんなでレストランで食事もしたようです。夜のイベントではダンスや劇も楽しみ、素敵な思い出になりました。

スタッフ
どのスタッフの方々もとてもフレンドリーで、娘の名前をすぐに覚えてハグしてくれるなど、とても温かい対応に感動しました。私たち夫婦は共に英語を話せるため、特に困ることなく過ごせました。
Marinaさん、Elsaさん、Kihoさん、Junirvanさん、Shuheiさん、Jupeさんをはじめとしたプチクラブの皆さん、Benzさんをはじめとするレストランの皆さん、そして毎回優しく声をかけてくださったシェフの方々、本当にありがとうございました。
また必ず戻ってきます。

This was our first time staying here with our 3-year-old daughter, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. We’re already thinking about coming back!

Location
The resort is about 30 minutes by taxi from Ishigaki Airport, costing around 6,000 yen. On the way, you can enjoy scenic views of places like Yonehara Beach and Kabira Bay. We even saw peacocks on the property, which staff told us is quite rare!

Booking
We booked through the official website using a last-minute deal. From what I could find, it was the lowest price available. Thanks to a Benefit One discount, we saved around 8,000 yen.

On-site Facilities
Although it was a bit chilly during our stay and we didn’t swim, there was still so much to do—beach walks, exploring the grounds, bar events, and more. There are also tennis courts, a basketball court, squash, table tennis, and a gym.
Even when it rained, the thoughtful building layout meant we could move around without getting wet. The resort also offered plenty of indoor activities and events, so we still had a great time.

Room
Our room was always clean and comfortable. It had a typical international design, and we appreciated the separate toilet. Amenities like shampoo, body wash, body lotion, and three bottles of water were provided.
We stayed in Building E, which was conveniently close to the Petit Club, restaurants, pool, and lobby. If you want direct beach access, the buildings further in might be a better choice. Towel and water replenishment is available upon request, and can also be done via the resort app.

Dining
All meals were served buffet-style, with different options every day. The live kitchen was a highlight, with chefs preparing meat, fish, and desserts on the spot. We especially enjoyed the Egyptian cuisine.
For kids, there were plenty of easy-to-eat options like noodles, bread, steamed vegetables, and fruit.
The bar was open nearly 24 hours and served both drinks and light meals.

For Kids
Our daughter spent a half-day at the Mini Club. She missed her mom at first and cried a little, but she made friends with the other kids and teachers and ended up having a great time. They even had lunch together at the restaurant.
Evening events included dancing and theater performances that our daughter really enjoyed.

Staff
The staff were incredibly friendly. They quickly learned our daughter’s name and would come up to give her hugs—something even our shy daughter really appreciated.
Since both my partner and I speak English, we had no trouble communicating.
Special thanks to Marina, Elsa, Kiho, Junirvan, Shuhei, Jupe from the Mini Club, Benz and the restaurant team, and the chefs who greeted us warmly at every meal. You all made our stay truly special.
