Good value for money in a somewhat outdated resort
4/5 • 03/04/2025Our experience was a very good one, but this is strongly emphasized by the fact that we went off-season and therefore could access competitive prices. On a like for like basis vs other all inclusive resorts in LatAm (Punta Cana, Playa del Carmen, etc), Club Med falls short, particularly when it comes to room quality and food variety.
The resort's location and grounds are truly beautiful. It is well secluded, which allows for amazing scenery.
Service quality is overall pretty good. The GOs as a norm are helpful and the people at bar & food stations are eager to help.
All in all, I would recommend this if you're looking for a good value for money option. But be aware this falls short vs. other all inclusive resorts in many fronts.

A Wonderful week with friend at Club Med Rio Das Pedras
5/5 • 31/03/2025Spent a great week with 2 girlfriends at Club Med Rio Das Pedras. We all had a great time! Such a beautiful location: Great staff everywhere and a lot of fun activities. I particularly enjoyed wakeboarding with cool GOs, aquagym, fitness classes and a trail walk with Victoria and a Rio Excursion organized by Andrea that was SO good & caring - she found us the best driver and guide. Thanks for a wonderful trip!

Escape to Paradise!
5/5 • 26/03/2025Wow! This is my first Club Med experience and it was just me with 2 kids… the best thing about this warm, flower-filled, sun-kissed resort is the Mini Club and the food! My children were basically whisked away from me and kept entertained the whole time… what a relief! Thank you to Jaoa, Juliette and Nandha in the Mini-Club… you gifted this tired Mumma with the holiday of a lifetime… no cooking, no cleaning and no screens! My kids loved it and so did I! Highly recommend.

5/5 • 23/03/2025Wonderful experience overall. While very few of the staff and guests speak English, there were terrific GOs who made our week a ton of fun! Gab and Juan (tennis), Victoria (hiking and land sports), Mari (fitness) were our favorites. They made all the activities a great experience, and it’s clear they work really hard. The food was excellent, and the resort is lovely and well laid out. Some of the rooms and bedding are tired, but not a big deal. We loved the massages at the spa. I wish there had been more teens and teen activities, but suspect our timing (mid-March) was bad. Thank you, Club Med!

Risk of the most dangerous form of malaria (falciparum) means that serious prevention is necessary (chemoprophylaxis and mosquito repellents). This risk concerns the Amazon region only.

The closest hospital is 45 min from the Resort (at Angra dos Reis).
