Holidays Made for Your Littlest Traveller

A holiday with a baby or toddler can mean a boot full of equipment and plenty of planning. At Club Med, it does not have to.

At selected resorts, baby equipment can be prepared in your room before you arrive, while dedicated feeding and changing facilities make it easier to care for your little one throughout your stay. Children under 4 can also stay free, subject to terms and conditions.

For parents looking for some time to themselves, optional childcare is available for children from 4 months at extra cost and selected resorts.

Your Room, Ready Before You Arrive

For children aged 0 to 2, the Baby Welcome kit is waiting in your room when you check in, with a cot, a baby bathtub, a changing mat and a bottle warmer. For children aged 2 to 3, the Kids Welcome kit provides a step stool and a potty, with a bed rail on request. Just let us know what you need when you book so it is ready and waiting.

Baby Welcome and Kids Welcome kits are included in your all-inclusive package at resorts with a Baby Club Med or Petit Club Med.

Meals at Any Hour

Depending on the resort, several facilities may be available to help you prepare meals and bottles for your little one.

The Baby Corner is a dedicated area within the main restaurant offering baby food and useful equipment such as a blender, bottle warmer and microwave.

Some resorts also have a Baby Restaurant, where babies and toddlers can enjoy meals with their parents or their children’s club group.

Biberonneries, or bottle rooms, provide equipment for preparing bottles and baby food and are generally accessible 24 hours a day. Facilities may include a steriliser, bottle warmer, microwave, water and baby food.

Booking Your Place

Places at Baby Club Med and Petit Club Med are limited, so we recommend booking early.

Where Easy Arrival is available, you may be able to complete your children’s club registration online through your Club Med account before travelling. On-site bookings or bookings for individual days may also be possible, subject to the resort’s arrangements and remaining availability.

For the best chance of securing a place, add childcare when making your holiday booking.

Snow Resorts with Petit Club Med

Our Hokkaido resorts welcome children into Petit Club Med from 2 years old. Tomamu, Sahoro and Kiroro Grand all offer childcare and activities for little ones, so you can get out on the snow knowing they are happily occupied. Please note our Japan ski resorts do not have a Baby Club Med, so childcare is available from 2 years old. Availability may vary by resort and season, so we would recommend to check the relevant resort page for your travel dates.

Resorts with a Minimum Age

A few of our resorts set a minimum age. Club Med Kani in the Maldives welcomes guests from 6 months, with a free Toddler Playroom, a Baby Corner and family activities for little ones, though it does not have a Baby Club Med or Petit Club Med. Club Med Kiroro Peak welcomes guests from 12 years old. Always check the resort page before you book.

G.Os Qualified in Early Childhood

The G.Os who care for children at Baby Club Med, Petit Club Med and Mini Club Med are qualified and experienced in working with the relevant age groups.

Quality standards govern the care of children under 6, including strict limits on the number of children per G.O, and no exceptions are made to go above that limit. A G.O is never left alone with a group and is supported by others whenever needed.

Staying Connected Through the Day

A liaison booklet keeps you in the loop with a record of meals, nappy changes, naps and your child's arrival and departure times, so you know exactly how their day went. Children attending the clubs also wear an identifying wristband while in Club Med’s care.
