A great week skiing in the Alps

Had a great week skiing at Club Med Grand Massif. Arrived late sunday in the evening, and the check in process was super fast. I was able to get my ski boots to the ski shops to get the binding sized and register for the next morning ski group lesson.

Elevator is super slow, so take the stairs. I ask for floor J which is supper convenient since the ski lockers is also at the same level. Buffet every night has lots of choices and lots of table to sit. My room is comfortable and has a nice view with balcony. Highly recommend this location. I may come back or try another club med in France next year.

I highly recommend a family trip to Club Med Grand Massif!

This was our first time at a Club Med and we were blown away by how great our experience was. Our kids loved the skiing (including ski lessons Mon to Fri), the Mini-Club, the buffet and the freedom offered at the resort. As adults, we loved the skiing, the restaurant and the facilities (including the ski lockers and token operated laundry).

Grand Massif has a large ski region with Flaine, Samoens, Les Carroz and Morillion so we were pleasantly surprised by how much there was to explore as we skied from Monday to Saturday. We were also very lucky with the weather as we got fresh powder on multiple days during our stay in late March!

Before going on this trip, I was nervous about all-inclusive food and was so surprised at how great the buffet was. The options available were different everyday and we never got bored. Our kids also loved all of the options available.

There were two areas of improvement:
The ventilation in certain areas of the resort were poor so there were some bad smells in different areas including our room which we could never get aired out properly.

I wished the family show was earlier than 8:15pm because it was much too late for our kids to enjoy when they had to be at ski lessons the next day at 8:30am (which meant an earlier wake up for breakfast). There was downtime between 5 to 6:45 when there were no activities available so it would make more sense to have a kids show at least for a few days since the skiing was finished by 4.
