Loved our Cancun Club Med experience. I wish the coffee services and the spa services were better. Overall I would recommend it for families who are looking for an all-inclusive, higher-end, experience. The staff, the food and the resort amentias were all very good. The lack of a decent coffee-bar and high-quality mani/pedi spa services was disappointing.

We had the most wonderful time in the Jade space in August. We know that their numbers were down while they are renovating the main pool area, but in the Jade section we were unaffected by renovations and were so well looked after. Thank you especially to Elisio, Daniel, Adeimir, Erasmo, Jesus, and Marco at the bar; Jorge, Silvia, Jaime, and Patricia at mealtimes; managers Daniel and Jose Luis, and of course Jade and Anna. There are, of course, more whose names I don't know. Every person seemed genuinely dedicated to making sure we were happy and looked after. Their kindness was unparalleled. When we left I actually felt a little tearful knowing I would miss the staff who took such good care of us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Club Med Cancun. The Kids Club made all the difference as the staff took great care of our little one. Maleni was very really attentive and caring after our child and his needs.

This is our second time coming to Club Med Cancun and as expected it did not dissapoint! The rooms were excellent, with wonderful A/C. The food was phenomenal, never ate the same meal twice. The excursions available were amazing, did a couple.

Overall, we had a lovely family vacation with 2 young children.

We had never traveled with the kids before & were seeking something relaxing and easy for the parents, fun for the kids, and veg-friendly. This all-inclusive resort fit the bill: it had a Baby Club and Petit Club that would take our kids (22 months and 3 years 11 months... whereas many resorts' kids' clubs start at age 4 or older only). It also offered vegan options at all restaurants.

1. our room was picture-perfect. We booked a deluxe 2-room family suite in Aguamarina and it was absolutely lovely. Our kids shared a bedroom and the resort provided a pack-and-play for the toddler. My husband and I shared the other room, which had a beautiful ocean view directly from our bed, and meant we could stay up a little later talking and watching TV after the kids went to bed, but still hear if they woke up needing us. It was the perfect setup.

3. I can't emphasize enough how much I appreciated that there was always at least one vegan "main course" option and appetizers and side dishes as well. At the buffet, there was a rotating entree option at each lunch and dinner, in addition to veggie burgers always being available by request. Some were better than others - standouts included the lentils with caramelized onions (SO good), the vegan meatballs, and the potato and tofu enchiladas. I was a little disappointed when the entree was simply a beet dish, which was very tasty and gourmet but didn't feel quite substantial enough for a main course.

4. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the facilities were. The Baby/Petit Club area was REALLY nice - my kids ran in excitedly the very first morning & it was like a nice indoor playground with slides and a play kitchen and other fun areas to run and play. The kids' waterpark and splash pad was also really nice and perfect (with supervision) for young kids. It was a little too hot during our trip (every day was "feels like 100 degrees F") to enjoy the regular playground, but I can tell my kids would have loved it if it had been a little cooler.

Preventing it from being a 5-star review: the only restaurant in our area of the resort was closed for renovations with no advance notice, meaning we had to walk 10-15 minutes or wait that long for a golf cart for ANY meal, tough in heat with small kids. Other minor issues but out of space
