The Bali National Golf is located in Nusa Dua, one of the most famous places to play golf in Bali. Overlooking the cliffs of Bukit about 30 minutes from Nusa Dua, this 18-hole course dominates the sea and the Balinese beaches from its heights. The site extends over 85 hectares, perched on a rocky coastline whose cliffs crash into the heart of the ocean. In the surrounding area, climbing plants, tall grasses and shrubs form a camaïeu of greens that blends in perfectly with the surrounding blue hues. This memorable setting probably explains why it is one of Bali's most unforgettable golf courses.
The course is technically very interesting, with blind holes, sloping greens, five sets of tees and a par 72, among others. The terrain here is varied enough to accommodate both beginners and advanced players.

It is probably thanks to the Netherlands that golf arrived in Bali. In the 17th century, the country was a great maritime power and had many colonies, including Indonesia. Rich merchants took their golf courses with them on their voyages, some of which were even found in a galleon sunk in the depths of the sea.

"The Bali Beach Golf Course and its 9-hole course is located in the prestigious village of Sanur, the Mecca of the Balinese jet-set, which has nevertheless managed to preserve its authentic character with its traditional bungalows and its local fishermen. The land itself is very wooded and has some lakes. It is also one of Bali's reasonably priced golf courses. Beginner players will be able to take their first steps, as the golf course has some relief, the holes are fairly easy and the fairways and bunkers are well maintained.
After your game, don't hesitate to go to Sanur Beach, located about ten minutes from the Bali Beach Golf Course. This pretty white sand beach protected by a coral reef is home to numerous blue lagoons from which you can see the temples in the background. Numerous activities are offered (snorkeling, fishing, windsurfing, offshore cruises...).".
