The most beautiful places in Bali
Explore Bali, a unique cultural treasure
Bali is a pleasant tourist destination. This Indonesian island has a variety of landscapes, ranging from wild forests and rice fields to religious temples and intimate creeks. What destinations must you visit during your trip to Bali?
Strolling on Jimbaran beach
The most beautiful beaches are in the southern part of the island (Kuta, Sanur, etc.). One of them is in Jimbaran, a small fishing village near the airport. During your visit, do not miss the fish sold at the local market, which you can enjoy in coastal restaurants that offer traditional meals. It is very pleasant to stroll along the beach at night.
Dive in the waters of Pemuteran
Are you fascinated by the seabed and do you wonder where to go in Bali for diving? Pemuteran Bay, located in the extreme west of Bali, near the island of Java, is a site that you must not miss. There, you will see dozens of aquatic animal species, particularly turtles and starfish. You will be stunned by the impressive coral and the richness of the reef. However, more surprises await you: there is a temple entirely submerged underwater and covered by coral, which contains statues and sculptures. This is a rare monument that you must not miss!
Visit the Besakih temple
The Hindu Besakih temple, located in the western part of the island, is a vast majestic complex of 86 clan temples built over an entire estate. Offering a superb view, the temple is located some 1,000 meters above sea level and considered to be the largest on the island. If you climb high enough, you can admire the architecture of the buildings.
Did you know? Best time to visit Bali
The climate in Bali is warm throughout the year, with an average temperature of 26 degrees during the day. However, we recommend that you visit during the dry season, which extends from May to October. The island is particularly pleasant in June, because there is lush vegetation during the late rainy season.
Stroll in the Monkey Forest
The Monkey Forest of Bali, located around Ubud, at the centre of the island, is a destination that you must not miss. This protected site, which is a natural reserve and a sacred site, is one of the numerous “green lungs” of the island. You will see monkeys, long-tailed macaques and more than one hundred species of different trees. In the forest, there are three religious temples which retain their original architecture and color. Finally, if you pass through Ubud village, seize the opportunity to stroll along rice fields and observe traditional dances.

Climbing Mount Agung is difficult but under favorable conditions, it is a delightful experience that adventurous tourists and outdoor lovers must not miss because it offers ample views of the nearby coastal areas.
